Hilde Opoku, former deputy mayor of Trondheim and Norway's SDG advisor to the Ghana Ministry of Finance, is now the Programme Manager for Ghana Smart SDG Cities.
We are pleased to announce that Ms. Hilde Opoku has accepted the role of Programme Manager for the first SDG Cities National Programme – Ghana Smart SDG Cities!
Smart SDG Cities in Ghana harnesses data, digitization, community engagement and investment in local impact to drive the local implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Hilde is the former deputy mayor of the city of Trondheim. Trondheim is a leading innovation hub in the Nordics, where the SDGs have emerged as the overarching framework for innovation across sectors. Prior to this appointment, Hilde was Norway’s SDG advisor to the Ghana Ministry of Finance.
