Description: This side event aims to further discuss how women leaders of businesses, cities and communities can join forces to drive positive local transformation through inclusive leadership, economic empowerment and reduced inequality and contribute to the High Impact Initiatives on gender equality and localization and the six transitions. The event will focus on the importance of investing in female mayors and gender responsive local solutions to promote economic opportunities, better services, and infrastructure. The event will also provide a forum for discussion and contribute to key commitments, announcements and solutions and a way forward for building a solid coalition for women led cities.
